Second generation ID.3 will hit the European market soon
Volkswagen will present the new ID.3 to the public next spring. The second generation ID.3 will be a new addition to the successful ID. family: To date, more than half a million ID., built on the Modular Electric Propulsion Platform (MEB), have been delivered to customers around the world. . Currently, the ID.3 is produced at the plants in Zwickau and Dresden in Germany. The new ID.3 is equipped with the latest generation of software, which improves system performance and can receive updates wirelessly. In addition, the standard equipment package has been updated: it now includes a 12-inch (30.5 centimeters) screen, a retractable trunk floor and a center console with two cup holders.
Functions such as Plug & Charge and the intelligent route planner for electric vehicles make the charging experience on the new ID.3 even simpler and more comfortable. Volkswagen incorporated the brand's latest generation of assistance systems into the ID.3. Outstanding examples are the optionally available Travel Assist with swarm intelligence and Park Assist Plus with memory function.
