MÓ 125: electric mobility in a format that suits your lifestyle

SEAT MÓ offers mobility solutions that respond to the dynamic needs of those who live in the city. And now he launches his latest creation onto the streets: the SEAT MÓ 50.

The new version complements the brand's line of electric scooters, until now made up of the SEAT MÓ 125 and SEAT MÓ 125 Performance, aimed at a younger generation that appreciates the freedom of electric mobility in a format that suits their lifestyle.

The new SEAT MÓ 50 keeps intact the functionality of its more powerful sisters, although it is focused on a different type of user. It uses a 4 kW electric motor, the best in its class, and a lithium-ion battery that achieves a range of up to 172 kilometers on a single charge. It also offers enough space to store two helmets, and offers a great level of connectivity.

“The new SEAT MÓ 50 brings urban electromobility closer to a new generation of drivers who enjoy the freedom of moving around the city without emissions or noise”, declared Lucas Casasnovas, Director of SEAT MÓ. “It offers the same levels of emotion as its sister, the SEAT MÓ 125, but in a format adapted to a younger audience, without compromising on quality, practicality or connectivity”.

The SEAT MÓ 50 embodies all the qualities of the SEAT MÓ 125 and combines them with its new vision of urban mobility, to make moving around the streets of towns and cities easier.

The central element is its advanced brushless electric motor, which is integrated into the rear wheel and produces 4 kW of power (with a maximum peak of 7.3 kW) and 100 Nm of torque. The removable 5.6 kWh lithium-ion battery offers up to 172 kilometers of range on each full charge, in ECO mode and according to the official WLTP test cycle.

The new electric scooter has three driving modes: City, Sport and Eco, as well as a reverse gear for easier manoeuvring.

The charging process is incredibly easy. The battery can be charged on the bike itself, but it can also be removed and connected to a domestic socket. A full charge can be performed in 6 to 8 hours.

In any case, not everything has to do with the autonomy and charging times of the new SEAT MÓ 50. Its top speed of 45 km/h gives it the necessary agility to move freely through the city streets. In Sport mode, it only takes 3.8 seconds to reach top speed.

Its chassis includes a conventional front fork and a rear mono shock absorber, which allow it to smoothly absorb the irregularities of the asphalt. The combined hydraulic braking system, with ventilated front and rear discs, as well as electrical regeneration, guarantee the best braking performance.

The new generation of drivers demands more than good road skills; it also asks the electric scooter for a digital experience as per expectation. And in that part, the SEAT MÓ 50 raises the bar well.

Through a smartphone application, users can search for their vehicle for information about its position and status updates. In addition, the bike has two USB ports to charge phones and other mobile devices no matter how long the journey takes. The trunk, with space for two helmets, is highly versatile and allows you to face everyday needs.

Underneath its modern and compact design hides a vehicle created to cater to a new generation of users looking for a comfortable and accessible means of transport. In terms of aesthetics, the color palette stands out, consisting of the exclusive Barcelona Gray and Tarifa Blue tones.

Production of the new SEAT MÓ 50 will start in January 2023, and its launch in Europe is scheduled for sometime in the first quarter of the year.
