NISSAN

ESTE MAGNÍFICO NISSAN SKYLINE GT-R V-SPEC II NÜR DE 2002 FOI LEILOADO NO REINO UNIDO

Absolute rarity: Nissan Skyline/GT-R in immaculate condition was auctioned in the UK

The Nissan Skyline/GT-R dynasty is long and full of standout versions that any aficionado of the brand would give anything for, but it's fair to say that the R34 holds the highest position in the collective imagination. In addition, there are also versions with more pedigree than others, and we can conclude that the Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II Nür is one of them. Now, a copy of these has just been auctioned.

Remembering that this edition, along with the M-Spec Nür, both inspired by the Nürburgring, meant the farewell to this generation of the model and that between the two only 1,000 copies were produced, 718 of which we are talking and 282 of its sister.

This GT-R V-Spec II Nür is the 675th manufactured, which rolled off the production line in July 2002, being one of 156 examples that show the combination of the Millenium Jade Metallic tone for the body with the black interior.

Its current owner bought the Nissan in Japan in February 2017, then shipped it to Hong Kong. Its state of conservation is very good, being completely standard except for one detail, is that it has installed a telephone system that was not offered from the factory.

Under the hood hides Nissan's RB26DETT engine, but in a boosted version of the 2,568 cc block that develops on paper a power of 276 hp and a maximum torque of 392 Nm, but in reality this version reaches 330 hp. It is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds and its odometer reads 61,234 kilometers.

The Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II Nür auction was held by auction house RM Sotheby’s at its London event at Marlborough House on November 5th. Initial estimates put the winning bid at somewhere between £120,000 and £160,000, but the car sold for an impressive £224,250.
