Model 3 TM3 510 Manhart
We are more than used to seeing models from European brands, especially high-performance ones, being prepared by aftermarket specialists, but it is not often that we see programs with Tesla examples. However, Manhart has just introduced the TM3 510 from the Model 3 Performance.
The changes are not only aesthetic, but also in the chassis. In fact, the most important thing is the new suspension, with springs from the H&R specialist, which reduces the free height in relation to the ground of the set.
Manhart also adds a new carbon front splitter to the Tesla Model 3, and it's not the electric car's only visual improvement. A set of red and gray finished decals adorn the exterior, with a stripe covering the hood and trunk.
For its part, the new 21-inch Manhart Barracuda wheels, finished in platinum gray, are quite eye-catching, although customers can choose the color they prefer. They are shod with 235/30 low profile tires.
The sedan also gets red accents in the mirrors and a subtle 'Manhart' lettering at the bottom of the doors, accented with a red stripe. But the most curious sticker is the one that gives the appearance of a grid with a honeycomb-style hexagonal screen.
While Manhart hasn't improved the Model 3's minimalist interior, the German specialist offers cabin changes if requested. The company can also optimize the braking system to improve its effectiveness. This model has tinted rear windows, which match the sporty image of the set.
As standard, the Model 3 Performance, with two engines and all-wheel drive, develops 480 hp and 639 Nm combined, but the TM3 510 reaches 513 hp and 660 Nm. These mechanics are powered by a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 82 kWh, that is, the same as the standard one.
Many may find that extra power a little disappointing, but you have to consider that electric car manufacturers lock the car's software so it can't be hacked, hence the difficulty in getting more power.
What is clear is that this TM3 510 will excel at any load point. Manhart did not provide prices for this preparation. In Europe, depending on the market, the standard Tesla Model 3 Performance, with 547 kilometers of autonomy, costs around 60,000 euros.
