SKODA ENYAQ RS iV 2023: A VERSÃO PRÁTICA E VERSÁTIL DO SUV ESPORTIVO ELÉTRICO

Enyaq Coupe RS iV: the performance-wise Czech cousin of the Volkswagen ID.4 GTX

It's not the brand's first 100% electric Skoda RS, but the 2023 Skoda Enyaq RS iV is a very interesting model. Following in the footsteps of the Skoda Enyaq Coupe RS iV, the Czech performance cousin of the Volkswagen ID.4 GTX boasts 300 hp (220 kW) of power and 460 Nm of torque. Thanks to that, it stands as the pinnacle of the line.

The Skoda Enyaq RS iV is, along with the coupe version, the brand's most powerful production car, standing just above the powerful Skoda Superb Sportline 2.0 TSI. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 180 km/h. The top of the line has two engines and all-wheel drive.

As expected, it uses the larger 82 kWh battery pack. The Enyaq Coupe RS iV has a remarkably low drag coefficient of 0.234. However, on the new Enyaq RS iV it is 0.265, so the WLTP range has been reduced from 545 km to a not inconsiderable 500 km.

It can be charged at DC fast charging points up to 135 kW, in this case taking 36 minutes to go from 10 to 80% charge. The usual Eco, Comfort, Normal and Sport driving modes are joined by Traction, designed for slippery surfaces and unpaved roads. Offers constant all-wheel traction at speeds up to 20 km/h.

In addition to its powerful electrical configuration, the RS version stands out for its Mamba Green paintwork inherited from the Octavia RS. The flagship model has the company's illuminated front grille, also known as the 'Crystal Face', Matrix LED headlights and LED taillights. There is also a variety of black accents throughout the exterior.

They are matched with a green RS badge mounted on the front fenders. Compared to a regular Enyaq, it's 10mm lower thanks to a sport suspension that's fitted as standard. The standard wheel size is 20 inches, although alternatively, 21-inch wheels can be chosen.

Inside, there are sports seats with greater lateral support and integrated headrests. Black Suede fabric is used for the seats and the dashboard, where the green seams provide a contrasting effect. There are also some carbon fiber moldings on the doors, a black roof and pillars, and a flattened steering wheel at its lower end.

The model will go on sale next year, so there are still a few months left to know its price and all the equipment.
