NOVO OPEL GRANDLAND GSe: O SUV ALEMÃO DE ELEVADA PERFORMANCE

Grandland GSe: the brand's new high-performance SUV

Closely following in the footsteps of the Astra GSe and Astra Sports Tourer GSe comes the next dynamic model of Opel's new electrified sub-brand: the Grandland GSe.

High-performance SUVs combine sports car speed with versatility and style. They offer dynamism and four-wheel drive and have a strong appeal to the driver. Today, they are most often found in the premium segment, but with the new Opel Grandland GSe, a high-performance SUV will soon debut in the popular C-segment.

“The new Opel Grandland GSe is exceptionally dynamic, competent and elegant. We are confident it will appeal to customers who want not only electrification in their SUV, but sporty driving as well,” said Florian Huettl, CEO of Opel.

The new Grandland GSe combines a supercharged 1.6-litre petrol engine with two electric motors - one on each axle - for a high total output of 300 hp. The plug-in hybrid powertrain makes the Grandland GSe a permanent electric all-wheel drive vehicle with optimized traction and class-leading acceleration power. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is completed in just 6.1 seconds, just like in a sports car, and the top speed is 235 km/h (135 km/h in purely electric driving).

Inside, the sporty front seats finished in Alcantara and certified by the AGR are yet another demonstration of Opel's excellence in seat engineering. They ensure that the Grandland GSe pilot and co-driver can enjoy dynamic driving while their backs benefit from the added comfort and support of the exceptionally ergonomic seats.

The Grandland's bold and pure exterior design with the Opel Vizor brand identity is further enhanced by GSe signature styling elements: 19-inch alloy wheels inspired by the award-winning Manta GSe concept, an unprecedented rear diffuser and a GSe badge. on the back cover. Another distinguishing feature of the Grandland GSe is the optionally available black hood.

Like its Astra GSe siblings, the prerequisites for the Opel Grandland GSe's especially dynamic and fun character lie in its unique suspension and steering calibration. With McPherson-type geometry at the front and a multi-link axle at the rear, Opel's sportiest SUV has firmer springs and shock absorbers with KONI FSD (Frequency Selective Damping) technology, which allows for different damping characteristics in the relationship between handling. and comfort.

As a result, the Grandland GSe responds immediately and predictably to every driver's demand while maintaining typical Opel stability under braking, cornering and, for example, on the Autobahn.
