XM PHEV Label Red...The arrival of the new BMW XM was the culmination of the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the BMW M. This new monster on wheels developed by BMW's sports division can be proud of being a true standard in terms of exclusivity, performance and technology. Now, the XM line is not yet complete. The German brand is preparing an important novelty with which it will complete this offer. This is the new BMW XM Label Red.

BMW M has released an interesting image in anticipation of the new XM Label Red. An image that reveals the exterior design of this version that will make the XM an even more exclusive and radical model. In addition, the sports brand has ratified the moment when it will be commercially launched, a launch that will still take some time.

It will be a quickly recognizable model. As its name implies, the new XM Label Red will feature an exterior image marked by design details in red tone. A shade that we can find around the grille, on the alloy wheels and even in a strip that runs through the side windows. The XM emblem situated on the grille will also be finished in red.

In addition to the characteristic features that the new XM Label Red can display, the relevant point will be in the mechanical part. Under the hood of this imposing crossover is a 4.4-liter V8 M TwinPower Turbo petrol engine. It is accompanied by a small electric motor and a high-voltage lithium-ion battery to form a plug-in hybrid propulsion system (PHEV).

BMW M has confirmed that the combustion engine develops 585 hp and 750 Nm of maximum torque. For its part, the electric motor reaches 145 kW (197 hp) and 280 Nm. The total power will be around 750 hp and 1,000 Nm of maximum torque. Now, because this phase of development is not yet finished, the figures may vary slightly.

As for its arrival on the market, considering the advance offered by BMW M, it is expected that the presentation of the new XM Label Red will happen within a short time. However, this does not mean that its arrival at dealerships will happen soon. The Bavarian brand warns that the Label Red version will be incorporated into the XM range in autumn 2023. There is still a long way to go.
