RENAULT

NOVO RENAULT 4 SERÁ APRESENTADO NO SALÃO DE PARIS 2022

Legendary Renault 4 will return electrified and as an SUV at the next Paris Motor Show 2022

With more than three decades in production and over 8 million units sold, the Renault 4 is undoubtedly one of the true legends of the French car industry. Therefore, it is not surprising that the diamond brand has decided to revive this myth in the 21st century.

After the presentation of the Renault 5 in 2021, Renault will reveal at the next Paris Motor Show 2022, between the 17th and 23rd of October, a prototype inspired precisely by the famous R4.

Although the center of attention is likely to be this modern Renault 4, the French group will present three other important novelties, such as the electric Renault Kangoo E-TECH and products from the Dacia and Alpine brands.

Although for now there is no information about this new R4, it is believed that it will be a prototype with an electric propulsion system, as the times dictate, and it is likely that it will have an SUV-style body, a little high, which is also a trend in the Marketplace.

As part of the 50th anniversary of the Renault 5, the brand will also show at the event in the French capital a sporty and elegant prototype inspired by the sporty versions of the classic model, so a more flashy and aggressive version of the 2021 prototype is expected.

As for production models, Renault will show the public in Paris both the Mégane E-TECH Electric and the Austral E-TECH Hybrid, products with which the manufacturer wants to strengthen its presence in the compact segment.

For its part, Dacia will showcase its new brand image for its entire product line in Paris, while Alpine will showcase an entirely new concept car that represents the sports car brand's future product strategy.

Other companies in the Renault group, such as the mobility brand Mobilize and HYVIA, will show, respectively, novelties in terms of charging solutions for electric vehicles and related to hydrogen and the fuel cell.
