LAND ROVER
Defender 75th Limited...There are few models on the market as long-lived and with such a rich history as the Land Rover Defender, originally presented at the 1948 Amsterdam Motor Show, which means that next year the British off-roader will celebrate 75 years of life.
To celebrate the occasion, Land Rover has decided to launch a special limited edition of the model, called the Defender 75th Limited Edition, which will be available for the 90 and 110 bodies (two and four doors respectively), but not for the Defender 130.
The Anniversary Edition stands out for the Grasmere green color for the bodywork, which is also present on the wheels (it is not very common for them to be painted in the same tone as the bodywork) and on certain interior details, such as the dashboard and door panels.
To differentiate itself a little more from the rest of the brothers in the line, this 75th also displays a '75 Years' sticker on the rear, in addition to seats upholstered in 'Resist Ebony' and a console made of a material called Robustec. The basis for this edition is the generously equipped HSE finish, which includes, for example, Matrix LED headlamps, Head-Up Display, 360-degree camera, induction charger for smartphones, three-zone climate control, memory seats and a Pivi Pro multimedia system with 11.4-inch screen.
The pre-bookable 75th Limited Edition will be available in several markets with the P400e plug-in hybrid powertrain as well as the P400 and D300 gasoline and diesel mild hybrids, but in some markets it will only be offered in the PHEV version.
A retractable fabric roof is also included as standard, which can optionally be a sliding panoramic roof. It also has the Terrain Response system for electronic traction management. Among the options are ‘all-season’ tires and a folding tow hook, for example.
