INFINITI
Infiniti has updated its entire lineup for 2023, adding even more features to existing models and offering Infiniti Premium Care, a three-year free customer care program. That's impressive enough, but Nissan's premium brand has also added value by providing more standard equipment for its vehicles.
Take, for example, the QX55. In 2023, the sleek crossover will receive a host of driver assistance systems such as lane departure alert, blind spot assist and ProPilot Assist with active cruise control and steering assistance (pictured above).
Rear passengers now get standard side airbags and leather upholstery is now standard. The driver is provided with a four-position lumbar support.
Essential (and higher) vehicles get adaptive Cube LED headlights with auto-leveling and traffic sign recognition. Top-of-the-line Sensory adds lumbar support for the front passenger, while the outboard rear seats are heated. The more traditional QX50 will be offered in a new Sport finish and includes a model-specific bezel and high-gloss black exterior. Dark 20-inch wheels complete the look. Inside, a 12-speaker Bose audio system and semi-aniline leather seats create a sleek look.
The rest of the QX50 family will have remote engine start, heated outside mirrors, wireless smartphone charging and tailgate warning. The Pure and Luxe trim levels get a new 19-inch wheel design, with the latter getting a motion-activated tailgate.
Additionally, those opting for the Luxe versions can opt for a 12-speaker Bose stereo system. There is a new exterior color (Radiant White) and two new interior colors (Pebble Gray and Monaco Red). The price of the compact crossover has yet to be announced, but expect an increase in line with the QX55.
Updates are awaiting the company's only sedan - the Q50 model. The changes will be minimal and will include a Saddle Brown upholstery option in the Luxe finish. The Sensory version is now also available with a glowing grid emblem.
Not so long ago, our publication wrote that INFINITI will change the entire model lineup to increase the premium.
Infiniti President Peyman Kargar recently outlined the second step of a three-phase development plan for the brand.
