The history of the best-selling motorcycle in Brazil, the Honda CG, is dotted with improvements that have given the model a constant technological and stylistic evolution, a quality that has made it cross decades in the 1st place of motorcyclists' preferences.

With more than 14 million units produced, this enviable status reflects the success of Honda's choices, which since the first CG 125, launched in 1976, has set a strict standard in which design excellence has been faithfully followed by strict quality control. in manufacturing, without forgetting an important detail: offering different versions of the model, with the aim of serving customers more precisely.

An example of this philosophy is the Honda CG Start, a version created in 2015 to be the most affordable in the family, but which did not give up the technical qualities that have always been part of the CG family. Initially equipped with the 150 cc engine, the CG Start was immediately recognized as ideal for those who wanted to spend the least while taking home the most: in fact, since its launch, essential components such as the engine - which became 160 cc in 2016 - and chassis have always been identical to those used in the most elaborate CG, the Titan.

In this success story that has lasted eight years, no less than 609,981 Honda CG Start were produced until July 2022 (91,748 of them with 150 cc engine), a figure that explains the acceptance of this version that brings differentiated items, aimed at those who want simplicity. , but does not want to give up efficiency.

For 2023 the Honda CG 160 Start brings as a novelty the Pearl Blue color, which joins the traditional Red and Black, completing the trio of options available for this version. In the technical/stylistic scope, there were no changes, remaining the CG 160 Start 2023 with clean lines, which on the occasion of the 2022 renovation received a new front fairing and panel.

The renowned 160 cc engine with FlexOne technology remains unchanged, as well as the stamped steel chassis with Diamond architecture. Complete the cycling part, the robust front suspension type SFF (Separated Function Fork), the rear with double-action spring-damper sets (with the possibility of adjusting the spring load in five positions) and the braking system with CBS - Combined Braking system.

The suggested public price of the Honda CG 160 Start 2023 will be 12,650 reais, based on the Federal District, not including freight and insurance expenses. The warranty is 3 years with no mileage limit. The version will be available at Honda dealerships throughout Brazil from September.
