M4 CSL 2023 shows its attributes in the video below

BMW M is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, and another milestone is associated with that milestone, the first CSL debuting a year after the birth of the sport division. There have been four versions of the BMW M CSL in history, with a third introduced just this year in the form of the BMW M4 CSL. It is the fastest production BMW car ever to overtake the Nordschleife of the Nürburgring, completing the lap in just 7:20.2. All thanks to performance improvements applied by the iconic motorsport division, giving us the most hardcore M car ever.

Including the weight savings, the 2023 BMW M4 CSL should accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds; and it will take 10.5 seconds to accelerate to 193 km/h.

This is made possible in part by a powerful turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine that boasts 543 horsepower. This figure is 40 hp. more than the M4 competition. Torque is 649 Nm and is available from 2,750 to 5,950 rpm. BMW has also improved the boost pressure on the new M4 CSL, and it's also higher than the M4 Competition.

The video above shows the overclocking of the M4 CSL. The sprint to 100 km/h was completed in 3.7 seconds and to 200 km/h in 10.9 seconds. Both match the declared values.

The top speed of 307 km/h was never reached. Despite that, the M4 CSL in this video accelerated to 271 km/h in the specified distance, and reaching that speed didn't seem too difficult for this car. Not long ago, our publication wrote that former BMW M boss Markus Flasch showed off the most unusual hood for the BMW M4. A BMW spokesperson confirmed that this hood is unique and will not be put into production.
