AUTONEWS

O blogueiro bateu o carro para verificar como funciona o detector de acidentes no iPhone 14 Pro

iPhone 14's automatic accident detection system was put to the test, and the result was positive

The authors of the TechRax YouTube channel set up a daring experiment - they crashed a car to see if the car accident detection system on the iPhone 14 really works. To do this, they equipped the old car with a kind of remote control system and hit the back of another car several times.

The experimenters really cannot deny courage and determination: even in Apple's official video, which talks about the new system, the cars did not fight. The video's authors emphasized that their channel's latest episode "was filmed in a safe and controlled environment." The experimental car was equipped with some kind of remote control system, the mechanisms of which were not made public - the empty car just collided with several rusty remains of the bodies of other cars.

And the flaw detection system on the iPhone 14 really worked. After the first collision, for some reason, it started to give signals only after some time, but the second time the host had to hurry to cancel the automatic emergency call.

The accident detection system appeared in the latest generation iPhone and Apple Watch. Upon detecting an accident using the device's special algorithms and sensors, the smartphone or watch beeps and displays a special notification, and if after 10 seconds the notification is not answered, the device initiates an emergency call, transmitting a recorded message and the coordinates of the crash site.
