SUV from Sant'Agata Bolognese gets an interesting update from G-Power
The German specialist G-Power, which has been preparing cars for more than four decades, always BMW or group models, expanded its catalog in 2014 to include some models from Mercedes-AMG and in 2019 it also made the leap to Porsche products.
Now G-Power once again increases the range of brands it works with and presents its first preparation for a Lamborghini. And, as it could not be otherwise, the chosen one was the best-selling model from the Italian manufacturer, the Urus.
The super SUV from Sant’Agata Bolognese already offers 650 hp of power and 850 Nm of maximum torque as standard, thanks to the Volkswagen Group’s ubiquitous 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine, but these figures do not meet the needs of G-Power customers.
The tuner offers an improvement in the electronic management of the V8 biturbo engine that is capable of increasing the power figure by 100 hp, up to 750 hp, and the maximum torque by the same measure, reaching 950 Nm.
In addition, G-Power also offers deeper modifications. Adding new straight pipes for the exhaust system and a sports catalytic converter, the numbers for the 8-cylinder block soar up to 791 hp and 1,000 Nm.
Huge 24-inch wheels complete the set, while in the cabin the spotlight is also on orange details, matching the exteriors, on the center console, doors and seats. For now, G-Power has not announced the prices of this preparation.
According to the German specialist, the 4.0 V8 engine's cooling system does not allow it to go further, but if the radiators indicated by the company are installed, almost 50 additional hp can be added, reaching 842 hp. Now yes, a more than enough number.
In addition to the power improvements, some aesthetic modifications are also offered, such as additions to the hood, extensions to the fenders and wheel arches, orange accents, an aggressive diffuser and a rear roof spoiler.
