HILUX BUSH CAMPER...When someone decides to embark on the adventure of going around the world, it is normal to choose a vehicle that stands out for its reliability and durability. And the Toyota Hilux BushCamper that appears in the images would be the ideal companion for such a trip. Because the base chosen to carry out this preparation, the Hilux, has gained the reputation of being one of the most robust pick-up trucks on the planet.
It is also important to point out that practically in any country that you visit it will be possible to find both services and spare parts, as well as mechanics capable of repairing the possible malfunctions that you may suffer. Because unlike many of its rivals, the Toyota Hilux is a truly global vehicle: it is manufactured in seven different plants spread across the globe and sold in over 180 countries and regions around the world.
This makes the Toyota Hilux BushCamper especially interesting. This company, located in Wiesentheid (Bavaria, Germany), offers, on the basis of the Hilux double cabin, extended cabin or single cabin, transformation packages with the capacity to stay overnight and travel between two and five passengers depending on the chosen bodywork option.
A preparation with which they sought to keep the weight of the set below 3.5 tons in running order. For this, they used light but resistant materials in the construction of the housing module, which also has a high ceiling and stylized shapes. It features different storage compartments on the outside and displays different systems for attaching accessories, such as sand plates or fuel or water tanks.
And so that the Hilux's off-road capability isn't compromised, BushCamper installs a kit of raised suspensions that increase ground clearance by 50mm. They also reinforce the chassis so that it can handle the weight of the set without problems and in the toughest conditions. The exterior changes are completed by an ARB front bumper with integrated winch, General Grabber tires (265/70 R17) and a compressor for easy tire pressure adjustment.
The interior of the module can be accessed through the cabin itself or through the wide rear door. Once inside, there is a space with a longitudinal distribution that includes benches to sit on, a sink, a small gas stove, a refrigerator with freezer and even a portable filter. There are two beds: one on the ceiling measuring 2.3 meters long by 1.55 meters wide and the other at the bottom measuring 1.95 meters long and 1.3 meters wide.
Regarding the price, the Toyota Hilux BushCamper starts at 135,000 euros without including options and with any of the three available bodies.
