During Nissan Innovation Week, and in line with its long-term vision Ambition 2030, Nissan South America announced this week that revolutionary e-POWER technology will arrive in the region from 2023.

The news was announced by Ricardo Flammini, Vice President of Marketing, Sales and After-Sales for Nissan South America, who commented that “the arrival of e-POWER, a patented technology from Nissan, to markets in the region is yet another demonstration of our brand’s commitment to offering customers the best of its portfolio and that we continue to drive the path to electrification.”

In this way, Nissan presents, through its multiple developments, a new vision of mobility and provides technologies and services that improve people's lives.

Electric vehicles such as the Nissan LEAF and Nissan Ariya, as well as models powered by e-POWER technology, represent for the company two interconnected pillars of emission-reducing and resource-efficient technologies that customers can choose from. according to your needs and lifestyles.

What is e-POWER technology?...It is the technology through which the vehicle is driven by a 100% electric motor powered by batteries, which has an internal combustion engine as its energy source with a high level of efficiency.

In this way, Nissan vehicles equipped with e-POWER technology do not need to be connected to an electrical energy source, which allows for greater autonomy.

The Nissan e-POWER represents a significant milestone in the implementation of the brand's electrification plan in the region.

Details on models, features and release dates will be announced at a later date in each of the markets.
