HONDA
Honda recently officially announced the release date of the ST125 Dax in Japan. Fans were encouraged to mark their calendars for July 21, 2022 in this market. As for the rest of the world, well, we'll just have to wait our turn and hope this bike shows up in our regions.
While some supply chain problems have subsided, others have taken their place – and the semiconductor shortage still exists, as most modern devices are semiconductor-based and it takes time for manufacturers to recover existing backlogs. As you might have guessed, this means the ST125 Dax unfortunately didn't debut in Japan in July 2022 as planned.
Rest assured, it was just a delay - and, in general, not even a very serious one. The new official release date is now September 22, 2022, according to Japanese publication Young Machine, which is generally correct on Honda-related issues.
All other bike specs remain the same, and only two color versions are planned to be released in Japan: red and grey. The MSRP is 440,000 yen.
No additional release dates have been announced for other markets yet. We know for sure that it will appear in Europe and the UK and, of course, we hope it will appear elsewhere as well. It is likely to appear in other Asian markets, especially Thailand.
