NOVA KAWASAKI Z650RS 2022 RESGATA VISUAL RETRO E TRAZ AINDA MAIS AGILIDADE PARA A PILOTAGEM URBANA

Z650RS 2022: retro look, but with high technology and ergonomics

With retro style, which refers to the origins of the 'Z Line' of the 70's, high technology and ergonomics that offer safe and comfortable riding, the new Z650RS 2022 arrives at authorized Kawasaki dealerships with a suggested price of 47,530 reais(local currency). The 'Z Family' update follows the worldwide trend of rescuing the classic design, with rounded lines that conquered motorcyclists over the past decades. In addition to the differentiated look, the launch brings a light handling, with progressive torque and power delivery, which facilitates maneuvers at low speeds.

The 2022 Z650RS arrives on the national market with the traditional performance of Kawasaki's nakeds. With a powerful thruster, the bike is equipped with a liquid-cooled, DOHC, parallel twin-cylinder engine. Strength is not lacking in this powerful 649 cm3 machine, which can reach a maximum power of 68 hp. at 8000 rpm. Designed for both urban commuting and sportier riding, the Z650RS engine has been updated to deliver smoother, more responsive performance in the low and mid-ranges - the most common in everyday driving - while maintaining torque and power at higher revs.

Still prioritizing everyday commutes in medium and large cities, the 2022 Z650RS was designed to be a light to agile motorcycle. Weighing only 187 kilograms in running order and with a wheelbase of 1,400 mm, the launch offers a simple handling, which allows even faster maneuvers. The chassis also contributes to this. Its 13.5 kg lattice frame was designed to offer maximum strength using the least amount of material possible, thus achieving greater weight savings.

As with the other models of the 'Line Z', performance is a central feature of the Z650RS 2022. The launch uses a clutch with an 'Assisted and Sliding' system, with a lighter actuation that prevents the rear wheel from locking up in sudden downshifts. The braking system prioritizes efficiency with the use of high-tech components, such as the Bosch 9.1M ABS. At the front, the bike is equipped with dual ø300 mm discs and at the rear, ø220 mm discs. Another differential is that the round discs contribute to a more retro look of the motorcycle.

As mentioned initially, comfort and safety were some of the differentials designed for the 2022 Z650RS, and the suspensions are a fundamental part of this aspect. For this, a progressive damping system was used, which increases the feeling of safety in the pilot. At the front, the bike received a ø41 mm telescopic fork, while at the rear it was equipped with a horizontal Backlink suspension with preload adjustment. In addition, the bike offers an upright riding position, which makes it easier for the rider to reach the ground safely. The fuel tank also contributed to greater comfort. With a capacity of 12 liters, it is narrow between the knees, which allows good ergonomics.

Panel: Analog speedometer and tachometer, multifunctional LCD display with gear indicator, fuel level, engine temperature, total odometer, partial odometer A and B, instantaneous consumption, average consumption, autonomy, clock in 12 or 24 hour format.

Completing the datasheet, the new 2022 Z650RS uses original Kawasaki cast wheels - similar to the Z900RS - and Dunlop Roadsport 2 tires. In lighting, all lights are LED, which provides greater visibility. The dashboard has all the functions, including: analogue speedometer and tachometer, multifunctional LCD display with gear indicator, fuel level, engine temperature, total odometer, partial odometer A and B, instantaneous consumption, average consumption, autonomy and clock on the 12 or 24 hour format.
