The GMC pickup with the best off-road capability is thanks to the aftermarket accessories

According to GMC, their best SUV to date is the Sierra 1500 AT4X AEV Edition pickup presented at the Overland Expo Pacific Northwest, which was equipped with accessories from the tuning company AEV. Front and rear bumpers made of 3 mm thick sheet steel with reinforced towing points, with winch preparation at the front, the technique is protected by 5 pieces of hot-pressed steel sheet - with this production technology, the end result is more than 3 times stronger compared to cold-pressed sheet. 

The 18-inch, laser-engraved AEV Salta rims are fitted with 33-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT tires. There are also some small changes to the factory construction, for example, the front panel is modified due to the steel bumper, the side steps can be easily unscrewed so that they are not in the way when traveling off-road. The front ground angle has improved by 27% and is now 32.5°, the rear ground angle has not changed significantly (23.4° instead of 23°), the ground clearance increases by 1 centimeter with the larger diameter tires. 

In addition to the AEV accessories, the basic AT4X model also gets real leather upholstery (there is also a massage function in the front), real wood inserts, and a 12-speaker Bose sound system. The GMC Sierra 1500 AT4X AEV Edition will only be available for purchase later, and the purchase price will be announced later.
