RADAR RD6: the newest leisure pick-up from the Chinese brand

Radar is Geely's latest creation. It is a new brand that intends to offer users vehicles destined for the world of leisure and its first delivery will be the RD6 pick-up, of which several images have already been shown. Its marketing will begin in China later this year.

The Radar RD6 is a mid-sized pickup truck with a double cab and a style that clearly resembles that of other Geely vehicles, especially on its front end. The most interesting thing about this model is that in addition to China, it will also be sold in other international markets.

Although it doesn't look like it from the outside, the platform used is the same 'SEA' that supports or will also support other models of the Geely Group, from brands such as Smart, Lynk & CO, Zeekr and Volvo itself. This should already guarantee sensational rigidity and state-of-the-art technology.

For Radar RD6, the Chinese group prepared only electric motors, but did not provide many details about them. But there are rumors that they could be around 200 hp in the simplest versions and reach up to 400 hp in those with higher performance with all-wheel drive.

Although there are no images of the interior, they say that the new Radar RD6 will be a vehicle with the most modern connectivity and will have screens to control the main functions. In terms of safety and comfort, it will also be on par with elements such as adaptive cruise control, Smartbeam, blind spot monitor and traffic sign reader.
