SC-PROJECT

SC-Project launches SC1-R line of exhaust systems for the latest edition of Yamaha TMAX 560

The SC1-R is available in three variants, in a matt black finish or in a stainless steel variant. As for the muffler, it can be carbon or titanium.

SC1-R has undergone thorough testing to ensure it meets Euro5 emission standards, and its installation also improves overall performance.

On the TMAX 560, the SC1-R can save 2.8 kg compared to a standard exhaust. It also delivers 1.3 hp more, with 1.5 Nm of extra torque.

The stainless steel SC1-R costs 1,440 euros, regardless of whether the muffler is made of carbon or titanium. Exhaust in matt black color, with carbon muffler costs 1,680 euros.

The TMAX 560 may not be a machine that comes to mind when talking about two-wheeled performance, but it is certainly one of the sportier scooters on the market. Its appearance is emphasized by more aggressive lines and aesthetics. However, the blow-up that SC-Project describes as a "high-tech muffler with a racing soul" may seem too much for a machine aimed at being a comfortable vehicle in urban conditions.

But those extra performances may give you five minutes more sleep in the morning. And we all only want five more minutes when the clock wakes us up in the morning.
