LANCIA

A rede mostrou um novo crossover elétrico Lancia

EXCLUSIVE: Presented the first image of the brand's electrified crossover that will hit the market in 2026

After years of silence and very limited activity, Lancia is finally getting a new lease of life, as outlined in a new 10-year strategic development plan announced last month. Fans of the brand might not be happy to hear that their favorite brand will be all-electric in 2028, but everyone will likely be happy to hear that three new Lancia models will be released in the next six years. Among these new models is a top-of-the-range SUV positioned in the European D-segment, which will be presented in 2026 as a competitor to the new Citroen C5 X and the upcoming Opel Insignia in the Old Continent.

The virtual novelty received a very bold design. While it probably won't be visible at first glance, the front fascia is inspired by the first generation Lancia Delta, and there's a nice aero element in the C-pillar, reminiscent of the Italian brand's glorious '80s. The DS Aero Sport Lounge concept introduced in 2020 was used to create this render.

The novelty of the electric crossover will be built on the STLA Medium platform, on which models up to five meters in length can be created. The Lancia crossover will likely offer a large cabin with five comfortable seats. Most importantly, a huge battery of 87 to 104 kWh will be installed in the floor. Not much more can be said about the new product at the moment, but rumor has it that this new product will be called Aurelia. By the way, Lancia will also revive the iconic Delta model as an electric car.

Not long ago, our publication wrote that the new Lancia Delta Integrale Martini 5 Evoluzione will sell at auction for $200,000. The Lancia Delta Integrale is still considered a high-performance cult hatchback. One of these cars was put up for auction.
