X-Town CT 300: brand already has its "intercity" version of its new scooter

KYMCO presented at the beginning of 2022 a new urban scooter, agile and light, but that boasted a wide flat platform and a capable space under the seat to align itself in the segment of GT citizens at the same time. What he is doing now is delving much deeper into those intentions with the "three hundred" version that he has just launched on the market.

GT DESIGN AND CITIZEN QUALITIES...One of the hallmarks of this KYMCO X-Town CT 300 is the wide flat platform, which provides extra comfortable foot space and more available cargo space, supported by a hook retractable rack on the shield.

A load capacity that is complemented by a hole under the seat with space for a full-face helmet and more. Inside the chest, illuminated with LEDs; stand out a USB slot (there is another one in the shield) and the automatic opening of the fuel cap cover.

The front has two optics, with four headlights, as well as the LED turn signals integrated into the side panels. While at the rear, the brake lights and turn signals are also integrated into the bodywork.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND PRICE...The new KYMCO X-Town CT 300 inherits the design of its little brother and adds to its virtues a new 276 cc liquid-cooled engine, which declares a power of 22.8 CV at 7,500 rpm and 24 Nm at 6,500 of torque. Thanks to this increase in its performance, this new scooter is as suitable for the city as it is for the interurban roads that surround it; being able to do kilometers on the highway without complexes, with a 10.5-liter tank.

The dimensions of its wheels, 13” front and rear, are those of a citizen scooter that seeks agility in the city. And its distance from the seat to the ground (only 790 mm) facilitates its movement when stationary for a model that does not weigh 200 kg (198 kg). It also has a double hydraulic shock absorber with adjustable preload in 5 positions at the rear; and 240 mm front and rear disc, with ABS braking system.

The new KYMCO X-Town CT 300 cc is marketed in Spain in three finishes: satin blue, gloss black and graphite. And the recommended retail price is 4,699 euros; or what is the same, 700 euros more expensive than the 125 cc version.
