Electric SUVs are very popular right now, and Honda knows it. The Japanese automaker decided to borrow General Motors' Ultium architecture and build its Prologue BEV (pictured above) on top of it. Our portal has already published the first teasers of the concept. Now, a new look has been presented for the battery-powered SUV, which is already being called a competitor to the Tesla Model Y and Ioniq 5.
TopElectricSUV showed us their interpretation of what a production model could look like, tweaking the elongated proportions to make it look more like a traditional SUV. In addition, designers changed the shape and pattern of the headlights and equipped the electric car with outside rear-view mirrors.
Now the novelty in its parameters looks a lot like another GM crossover built on the Ultium platform, the Chevrolet Blazer EV. Both cars appear to have a charging port located in almost the same spot, hinting at their shared platform.
The Prologue will likely not be manufactured by Honda. GM will handle production, and while nothing has been officially revealed, there are rumors that Honda's SUV will be built in Mexico.
