ENERGICA MOTORS
Experia: the new electrified multi-highway of the Italian brand
Energica has been creating motorcycles with fully electric propulsion for a decade in its Italian headquarters, and has not only been dedicated to commercial activity, but also to the technological impulse, something perfectly evident, as it is the supplier of the motorcycles that compete in the FIM MotoE World Cup, which has been running for three seasons.
Energica motorcycles covered thousands of kilometers on roads and circuits, accumulating experience to the point of allowing the company to bet on a new segment within electric motorcycles, that of travel, something that until now seemed vetoed by the autonomy of these vehicles.
The name Experia comes from the Greek word Hesperia, with which the virgin lands beyond the western horizon of the world then known to the Greeks were once known, and which can now be explored in an emission-free vehicle.
NEW PLATFORM...Energica created a new mechanical base they called the Green Tourer, which includes a new EMCE electric motor that has been redesigned with new battery chemistry. It also has a different chassis from the rest of the brand's models with a design in which weight has been reduced and balance has been improved.
MOST CAPABLE ENGINE...The PMASynRM motor has a completely new design, maintaining the EMCE concept, which stands for Permanent Magnet Assisted Synchronous Reluctance. These brand new propellers are also lighter, have less moving mass, which reduces their inertia, and are placed in a lower position than the rest of the other models.
AUTONOMY AND COMFORT...The combination of the new motor and battery gave the Experi the longest range of an electric motorcycle to date, regardless of speed. There is a range that ranges from 246 km in a combined cycle to 420 km in urban driving.
The engine rotates in the opposite direction to the wheels, which reduces the total inertia of the motorcycle, and this is something that adds to the absence of vibrations, noise, exhaust heat, jolts at very low speed and the immediate response of these types of engines.
It is equipped with two USB ports on the dash and two more in a waterproof, lockable storage compartment. The accessories list will gradually grow and cover all the needs of all customers who love green tourism. The bike can be ordered from 1 June 2022 at all Energica stores worldwide and will be available from autumn 2022 with pricing available at www.energicamotor.com
