MINI 5 DOORS: unique combination of sportiness and versatility

All the qualities of the original, complemented by a clear plus in functionality: this is how the MINI 5-door secures its exceptional position in the high-end small car segment. It combines authentic fun behind the wheel and expressive British-style design with two additional doors and an extra portion of space in the rear.

The Resolute Edition of the 5-door MINI showcases a unique combination of traditional sporty styling and increased versatility in an especially attractive way. The new special edition model enriches the distinctive character of the MINI 5-door with precisely coordinated design and equipment traits that convey self-confidence, individual class and a historically ingrained enthusiasm for motorsport.

The MINI 5-Door in the Resolute Edition lines up for the exit with the maximum potential for fun behind the wheel. It combines the Edition's unique design traits with the design of clear, reduced surfaces for the front and rear deflectors, which accentuate the vehicle's modern character, centered on the essentials. A 1.5-liter 3-cylinder engine with MINI TwinPower Turbo technology and a maximum output of 136 hp guarantees an energetic drive. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 8.3 seconds. The maximum speed of the car is 207 km/h.

In the new Resolute Edition, the powerful appearance of the 5-door MINI Cooper is reinforced by an exterior finish in Rebel Green. This body finish, which until now was only available for the extremely sporty John Cooper Works models, is inspired by the color combination of classic British racing cars. The roof and exterior mirror housings of the special edition model are finished in a contrasting Pepper White color or optionally in black. Numerous characteristic design elements are finished in the exclusive Bronze Resolute color. The refined look of this edition-specific finish is revealed in the headlight edges, radiator grille and taillights, front side panel badges, door handles and tailgate. The brand logos and model lettering are finished in Piano Black, as are the inner radiator grille frame and exhaust pipe tips. The band around the lower edge of the classic black glasses also complements the unique look of the special edition model.

For its part, the inscription 'RESOLUTE' is the most striking feature of the hood strips and door sill moldings. Both feature a design of parallel lines with a color gradient that goes from a light to a dark shade of gold. This asymmetrical gradient specially reflects the high quality design of the special edition template. 18-inch alloy wheels in Pulse Spoke Black design complete the sporty look of the MINI Cooper 5-door Resolute Edition. 17-inch alloy wheels are also available in Tentacle Spoke Black as an option.

Inside, the MINI Cooper 5-door in the Resolute Edition offers five seats, and thanks to a wheelbase that's 72 millimeters longer than the MINI 3-door, there's noticeably more legroom at the rear. The ample interior space also makes the special edition's specific design elements stand out in an excellent way. The anthracite-coloured roof covering and the fabric/leather sports seats in Black Pearl/Light Checkered, together with the black armrests and knee pads, give it an athletic look and great driving comfort. a color combination that harmonizes perfectly with the Rebel Green paint and the exterior design elements in black and gold. 

The MINI Yours Leather Lounge version is also available, on request, in Carbon Black, with especially eye-catching stitching and details, as well as a perforated Union Jack motif on the headrests. The sports steering wheel with the edition badge on the lower spoke, covered in Nappa leather, is especially comfortable to hold.

The evenly curved, parallel lines in a light gold tone form an exquisite stripe pattern against the black background of the edition-specific interior surfaces, echoing the structure of the hood stripes. The lighting package, whose LED units provide specific interior lighting, emphasizes the unique design features. 

The ambient light enriches the elegant ambience with elements such as the laser engraved ring for the central instrument and also the light detail on the doors and in the cabin area, as well as the illuminated door handles and entrance areas. In addition, the 5-door MINI Cooper in the Resolute Edition features MINI Driving Modes, which allow the driver to activate sporty features in the vehicle's propulsion and suspension systems via a toggle switch.
