The Kombi turned vegan

Digitized, renewed, electric and...vegan. Yes! The electric Kombi once again surprises by combining technology and sustainability in a single project, which uses a high percentage of recycled materials, while all the components of the cabin result from non-animal sources.

Starting with the steering wheel rim, made of a synthetic material that looks the same high quality as leather and even offers a similar feel. The materials used in some seat covers, such as the floor covering and roof lining of the ID. Buzz include components created from recycled products. Among them is a fabric made from a yarn called SEAQUAL, whose fibers consist of 10% plastics collected from the oceans and about 90% recycled PET bottles. Even the ArtVelours 'ECO' finish, first used on the ID. Buzz, has 71% of recyclable materials in its composition.

The combination of exterior colors is, without a doubt, one of the style signatures of the Kombi. The driver and front passenger sit in comfortable individual seats. The high seating position, typical of the classic Kombi, is the same as always. And even in the basic version, the front seats have an armrest. In higher versions, the passenger seat also offers the component. In the top versions, the seats are fully electrically adjustable and have memory and massage functions.
