Iveco T-Way has just been elected as the most beautiful truck in the world

The recognition came from a jury made up of 50 designers from various European studios. That is, by the members of the 2022 edition of the Red Dot Awards. It is one of the most important design awards in Europe. Therefore, it does not only cover the heavy vehicle sector.

In 2021, the Volvo FM took the prize. According to the organizers of the Red Dot Awards, voters consider aspects such as solutions that address trends and functionality in design. As well as innovation, among others.

The Iveco T-Way replaces the Trakker. Its launch in Europe took place in 2021. It is a truck intended for off-road operations. Thus, the award is even more relevant. After all, the jury usually chooses road models, not vocational ones.

Be that as it may, the design of the Iveco T-Way shares elements of the S-Way line. That is, the family of road models of the Italian brand. This is the case, for example, of the front grille and the optical assembly.

In fact, in addition to the design, the various technologies and electronic solutions contributed to the S-Way gaining notoriety in Europe. However, the model is not sold in Brazil. However, with the entry into force of the new rules on pollutant emissions, in January 2023, it is possible that Iveco will bring this line of trucks to the country.

Returning to the Iveco T-Way, it is an extra-heavyweight intended for operations such as civil construction, mining and logging. In this sense, the high suspension and structural reinforcements, among other aspects, contribute. As a result, the load capacity exceeds 100 tons.

According to the brand, the team of designers sought to create solutions that facilitate the operation. In this sense, one of the examples is the front bumper. Thus, you can only change the affected part in case of damage. This allows the repair to be done quickly. Thus, it contributes to the availability of the truck.

The cabin design was also thought to offer maximum comfort to the driver. As well as the finishing materials facilitate cleaning. In other words, it is a great advantage in off-road operations.
