Leoncino 800 Trail 2022: receives modifications and improvements, among which a new 800cc engine stands out

At EICMA 2021, Benelli presented innovations in its Leoncinos with new displacements, now covering 125cc, 250cc, 500cc and 800cc, the latter being the top-of-the-range model. In addition, the Benelli Leoncino 800 has a "Trail" version focused on more country use, which is reflected in its double exhaust in an elevated position and the 19" front rim, as well as in the license plate holder and license plate. side.

NEW ENGINE...Liquid-cooled 754cc four-stroke twin-cylinder engine delivers 76.2PS at 8,500rpm and 67Nm of torque at 6,500rpm, features dual overhead camshaft timing with 4 valves per cylinder and the 43 mm diameter double throttle body. It also has a slipper clutch and a 6-speed gearbox.

MORE SUSPENSION TRAVEL...The trellis frame of the Leoncino 800 has been revised and reinforced for its new engine and performance, being the same in the field and road version.

The suspensions have also been improved. It has an inverted fork with 50mm diameter stanchions and 148mm of travel (140mm in the road version). The rear monoshock reaches up to 140mm of travel, leaving the seat at a height of 834mm from the ground.

It also mounts studded tires, 120/70 19” at the front and 170/60 17” at the rear, these being the last difference between the field and road model.

BETTER COMPONENTS...In terms of brakes, there is a 320 mm diameter double semi-floating disc at the front with a four-piston radially mounted monobloc caliper, and a 260 mm diameter disc at the rear, with a double-piston caliper. It also features quality details, such as the headlight located just above the full-led front light, and the TFT screen.

The Leoncino 800 Trail will be available at all official Benelli dealers from April 2022, in grey, brown and green colours. Priced at €8,590, which is also available in an A2 version for €8,290.
