'RAM Revolution' is the electrified pickup of the old Dodge with remnants of Cybertruck DNA
RAM is another brand that plans to join the great wave of electric pick-ups in the future, however, new information has just emerged regarding the possible name that its new member will take.
This vehicle, which will apparently be the size of a 1500 and could be called Revolution, after the company registered the name 'RAM Revolution' with the US Patent and Trademark Office on January 27th, was discovered and was shown by the American specialized media.
Although the document does not confirm that that will be the name that will be baptized the new model, some organs of the American media assure that it may even be a play on words by adding the letters 'e' and 'v' referring to the EV models. i.e. electric vehicles.
In the middle of last year, the brand confirmed that it would bring to life its first electric model, which will be arriving in 2024. After that announcement, the only thing that emerged was the image of the model in teaser mode.
The information that has circulated says that this product will be manufactured on the Stellantis Group's STLA Frame platform and will offer a broad overview of battery packs, which will provide it with up to 800 km per charge, or at least that's what the rumors say.
It is said that the performance of this pick-up will be outstanding, as it is even assured that it will easily be able to overcome the power of a RAM 1500 TRX with its 712 hp.
This competitor will come to face directly models like the Chevrolet Silverado EV, Ford F-150 Lightning and even the Rivian R1T.
