MANHART MH7 400d: UM BMW SÉRIE 7 COM MOTOR DIESEL DE 400 CV

BMW 7 Series diesel powered by Manhart

Many say diesel is dead, but not for Manhart. While we wait for the new generation of the BMW 7 Series, scheduled for the end of the year, we can appreciate this Manhart MH7 400d, a 7 Series with a diesel engine and 400 hp. Already in 2015, the German tuner presented its particular version of the Bavarian sedan, but now it does so with a diesel engine, based on the 740d xDrive.

The Manhart 7 Series corresponds to the model before the restyling applied by the German brand in 2019, with the M package. But the modifications applied are compatible with the updated version. It features a front splitter with a carbon fiber lip and the German specialist's signature livery, with gold accents and Manhart insignia replacing the BMW badges.

The aesthetic part is completed with a set of 22-inch Manhart Venturi light-alloy wheels with multiple spokes, shod with mixed performance tires 265/30 R22 on the rear wheels and 295/25 R22 on the front wheels. The air suspension was lowered by between 20 and 30 millimeters, and 15 millimeter H&R spacers were added.

For its part, the interior retains almost entirely the same appearance as the original 7 Series, with white leather upholstery, but with a group of Alpina buttons and the Manhart insignia on the steering wheel. However, the preparer offers numerous customization options on request, including a star lit ceiling.

To power this MH7, under the hood is a 3.0-litre inline 6-cylinder biturbo engine inherited from the 740d xDrive, but modified to go from 320 to 400 hp and 790 Nm of torque. For this, it has a reprogrammed engine management unit and a Manhart Turbo Performance kit.

All that power is transmitted to all four wheels, via a mechanically tuned 8-speed automatic transmission and a standard BMW xDrive all-wheel drive system. Depending on customer tastes, Manhart can add some changes to the exhaust system and brakes.

Regarding prices, only the modifications introduced to the engine cost 6,999 euros. The wheels cost 4,890 euros, the front splitter costs 3,295 euros and the carbon fiber lip 2,340 euros. Finally, for the carbon rear diffuser you have to pay 1,099 euros. All prices for Germany.
