PORSCHE RALLY BY HAKOSAN DESIGN: IMAGINANDO UM 911 PARA OS RAIDS MAIS EXTREMOS

Porsche 911 through Hakosan Design's vision

The internet is a very useful tool, we are browsing it every day. On the other hand, it is also a springboard for those who otherwise could not make themselves known, such as graphic designers. Currently, it is relatively simple to work with digital images, thanks to editing programs that, in some cases, are even free. Now, getting known and getting attention is not so easy.

It is the counterpart of the benefits of the network, which also serves as a showcase for the whole world and in the end, proposals and ideas are disseminated by the thousands. However, when the work is good, in the end the repercussion is high, as happened with the latest creation by Hakosan Design, one of the best that has emerged in recent months, and this considering that works by independent designers are constantly appearing.

Projects on the basis of the Porsche 911 appear in the dozens, some works debatable, others quite acceptable, but in this case, Hakosan Design went a step further and managed to develop a project that could almost be attributed to Porsche itself. Specifically, the 993 generation was taken as a starting point, the last of the 911 'air cooled', which underwent a very remarkable and well-placed transformation, because everything is very well integrated and nothing is out of line.

The wheel arches have been wildly enlarged to make room for the huge off-road wheels and also to improve the suspension travel. At the rear there is a 'duck tail' spoiler, clearly inspired by the one that mounts the Porsche 930 Turbo, while a spare wheel was installed between the aforementioned spoiler and the engine, also cutting the entire lower area of the rear bumper to improve the departure angle and aerodynamics.

The possibility of placing the spare wheel in such a peculiar position is due to the absence of the famous air-cooled 6-cylinder boxer engine.

Hakosan Design says that in its place, Formula E technology has been introduced, that is, there is an electric motor that, according to its creator, reaches 1,000 hp.

Hakosan claims its creation is designed for any 'Super Off-Road Challenge' but doesn't say whether it's a four-wheel or rear-wheel drive vehicle, but one thing is clear, if it were a 'real' vehicle it would have to be a monster running through the desert dunes or racing any rally at a respectable pace.
