RENAULT MASTER 2023: NOVO DESIGN, MAIS POTÊNCIA, ECONOMIA E SEGURANÇA PARA MANTER A LIDERANÇA DO SEGMENTO

Brand presents Master 2023 line for the Brazilian market

Leader in the large van segment (FU3) in Brazil for eight consecutive years, the model arrives renewed, with a new front design that reinforces the brand's visual identity, internal changes to increase comfort and a new generation of 2.3 dCi turbo engine, 24% more economical and with more performance, in addition to more technology for safety and comfort. The Master 2023 maintains its attributes of power, robustness and comfort, as well as its versatility, thanks to a line consisting of four body options and more than 100 transformation possibilities to meet any type of need.

The Master 2023 hits the market in Van, Chassis, Vitré and Minibus options and with three different options in terms of length and two in terms of the vehicle's roof height.

New design with more robustness...The new front design of the Master 2023 is even more robust, expressive and dynamic, with the adoption of a new front grille with vertical design. The new headlamps, with LED daytime running lights (DRL), bear the recognized C-Shape signature characteristic of Renault models and frame the new hood, with a higher and more striking line.

The new front bumper, reinforced and that wraps well the front of the SUV, contributes to this remarkable perception. This contrast between the vertical design of the front grille - which has a chrome frieze framing the piece - and the striking and horizontal line of the hood give the new Master a strong and robust look.

In the rest of the design, the Master maintains the model's excellent solutions, such as the vertically shaped lanterns, a plate positioned on the left side in an elevated and visible position and large asymmetrical windows, which facilitate visibility for the driver.

The interior received important changes to increase the comfort of the occupants. The steering wheel is new, with a more sophisticated design, and features the keys to activate the cruise control system, while the new gearshift knob features a glossy black finish.

The instrument panel features a 3.5-inch TFT screen, to house the model's on-board computer functions, such as consumption, average speed, autonomy and engine temperature. In the center of the dashboard, in a central position and with easy operation, it is possible to equip the new Master with a 7.0-inch multimedia center with connectivity to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems and an integrated digital TV.

With a cabin designed for the driver who spends many hours behind the wheel, the Master offers a lot of comfort, with steering column height and driver's seat height and inclination adjustments. With wide visibility, the windshield allows an angular amplitude of 185.9 degrees.

The free span of the new Master's side door is 1.27 m, allowing the boarding of a pallet, in addition to the piece having better grip on the sliding channel, being able to be opened and closed with less effort and more ease.

One of the great novelties of the Master 2023 is the new generation of the 2.3 dCi turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. The engine brings 136 hp at 3,500 rpm (6 hp compared to the previous one) and 360 Nm at 1,500 rpm, which represents 16% more than the previous model. This is reflected in an even more agile and safer vehicle, even with maximum capacity. In addition, the model is up to 30% more economical in urban use, being the best in class in its category in this regard.

To achieve these results, the new generation of engine has received several improvements, such as:

- 2000 bar high pressure injection system (400 bar more than the previous generation). This evolution allows a superior atomization of the mixture, guaranteeing a more efficient burning and with less residues. The new seven-hole injector, centered on the cylinder, allows a symmetrical spray into the combustion chamber. The injection system was developed in conjunction with piston head optimization to achieve better combustion efficiency.

- New head, with a new design favoring better cylinder filling. The water circuit has also been modified to ensure the thermomechanical reliability of the head. Added to a new camshaft modified to reduce the dimensions of the upper part of the engine as well as to support the additional torque necessary to move the high pressure injection pump (2,000 bar).

- EGR cooling system has been optimized to increase its cooling capacity. A radiator with greater cooling capacity, by-pass through the head and cooled EGR valve which contributes to NOx/CO2 reduction.

- Redesigned intake manifold to increase turbulence by optimizing cylinder filling.

Technology for more safety...The new Master 2023 received a complete package of active safety that guarantees the safety of the occupants in different driving conditions and that is present in all versions of the model. Now, the model is equipped with Stability Control (ESP), Traction Control (TCS) and technologies that allow safe resumption of vehicle control in situations of low grip or loss of directional control, acting individually on the brakes of each wheel, as well as acceleration.

In addition to this technology, the new Master now adopts the Ramp Start Assistant (HSA), which holds the vehicle in position on sloped floors for two seconds, until the driver accelerates, allowing the driver to start safely, even under load conditions. maximum. Another new technology in the model is the Anti-Rollover System (RMI), which detects an excessive body tilt condition and works together with ESP and TCS to prevent tipping.

Master also brings the Trailer Traction Assistant (TSM), a system that detects instability in a trailer and, with the help of ESP and TCS, stabilizes the set, ensuring safety in this driving condition. Another novelty is the Extended Start-up Grip Assistant (EGD), which helps to start off on low-grip floors, or with a difference in traction between the wheels. The ABS brakes also feature Emergency Braking Assistance (AFU) technology, which increases the hydraulic pressure of the brake system in emergency situations and also activates the hazard warning lights to avoid a rear collision.

Adaptive Load Control (LAC), another new addition to the model, detects if the vehicle is loaded and adjusts ESP parameters to increase safety in all scenarios. Another system that is new to Master is the Cross Wind Stabilization System (CWS), which identifies conditions of strong cross wind - such as when crossing a bridge or when passing a larger vehicle, through the sensors of inclination, angle of steering wheel and other parameters. If the system detects a risky situation, it works together with ESP to ensure a safe driving condition.

The headlights with daytime running lights (DRL) ensure the vehicle's visibility by pedestrians and other vehicles, even in adverse lighting conditions, both in the city and on the road.

Versatility and ample space...With different configurations, the new Master 2023 offers different application solutions for customers, as it has three length options and two ceiling height options, as well as Van, Chassis, Vitré and Minibus versions.

The Van option has three wheelbase options, from 3,182 mm to 4,332 mm, as well as two ceiling height options, in addition to a load capacity of up to 1,522 kg and the possibility of transporting objects up to 1.80 m in height ( in the version with H2 roof) and up to 3.7 meters in length (in the version with length L3). This allows a total load area from 8 m3 (L1H1) to 13 m3 (L3H2).

The Vitré version, in turn, has side windows at the rear, allowing customization for different types of operation. The model is available with a length of 6,198 mm and a height of 2,492 mm.

In the Chassis version, the customer has the option of applying different implements to the Master, having a practical vehicle, which does not require a special driving license and which does not have limitations on driving in urban areas. The model has a maximum load capacity of 1,740 kg and can receive implements of up to 18 M3.

For those looking for a comfortable and spacious transport solution, the Minibus version is ready for that. With 16 seats, high quality finish, spacious and comfortable interior, the model has a practical 1,000-liter trunk - without reducing the number of occupants, air conditioning system with side ducts allowing the correct climate of passengers and reclining seats. up to 29º, in addition to individual lighting.
