SMART FORFOUR 2024: ADIANTAMENTO DE UM SUV ELÉTRICO MUITO DIFERENTE

Smart Forfour 2024 becomes an SUV

Geely is preparing the new strategy with which it will storm the market in just over a year and a half. The Chinese giant will follow the established line with the EQ models, so full electrification will be the predominant note and there will be no other propulsion option. The unprecedented SUV, which has already been seen in tests and in some advances, will be the first to arrive - at the end of 2022 - and is expected to make its commercial debut.

The commercial launch is scheduled for the first quarter of 2023, a model that will pave the way for the next one, which is none other than a new generation of Smart Forfour. Geely is well aware that the current model was one of the biggest fiascos for the brand in recent times, so it will try to correct the error by scaling positions in the market. Geely's intention is that the future Smart Forfour 2024, which appears in this recreation, competes in the B segment, one of the most competitive in the market.

A market segment that is full of alternatives, but which, in the case of Smart Forfour, will continue to maintain its more Premium status conceived as an option that will also try to push against the ropes, mainly Volkswagen and the French DS. But the other electric utilities are also in his sights.

The tricks that will be used are more than clear. The main one, a modern and very attractive design that is marked by the Smart Concept #1, with an elongated windshield, a floating style roof and a front dominated by very torn headlights and joined by a thin luminous strip. The same style that will also follow the taillights. A very attractive set in a size of just over four meters.

Very interesting arguments that will be completed with Geely's 'SEA' platform. A modern architecture that adapts to all market segments, and with which it will offer ample interior space and a decent trunk volume, without any intrusion of mechanical components. Underneath the cabin, a rear electric motor adjustable to different power levels and up to a maximum of 150 kW (204 hp) and a battery of up to 66.5 kWh with a maximum range of up to 430 kilometers is expected.
