Toyota Land Cruiser gets an interesting update
Currently there are a lot of preparers to even improve the off-road capabilities of crossovers, pick-ups and SUVs, but few companies are as specialized as Arctic Trucks, especially when it comes to creating the most capable vehicles on snow and water. ice.Its lineup of preparations has already reached models of several brands, including a spectacular Ford F-150 AT44 that we met last year.
One of its most popular models is the Toyota Land Cruiser, although after the arrival of its new generation it was time to renovate it thoroughly and the truth is that it didn't take long. Thus, the Icelandic preparer has just presented the LC300 AT35, a monster with 35-inch tires ready to enter any icy desert.
It's precisely these big off-road tires, accompanied by 17-inch wheels, the first thing that catches the eye of this new Land Cruiser, along, of course, with the new, much wider fenders that give the square a so muscular touch. and elegant bodywork of the new Land Cruiser. A body that now also includes Arctic Trucks logos and stickers.
To accompany this improved shoe, the specialist also installed new shock absorbers and front and rear springs with electronic adjustment to always adapt to the terrain, but offering enhanced off-road performance. With all that, this Land Cruiser now has a ground clearance of 260 or 270 mm depending on its mechanics, that is, 40 mm more than the standard version, which also translates into attack and departure angles. improved up to 37 and 30 degrees respectively.
For now the model is available in Russia, although it is also offered in other markets unaccustomed to snow and ice, such as the UAE, as its new capabilities also make it a very capable model in desert and dunes.
Of course this is just the beginning, since as we know, in addition to this AT35, Artic Trucks also usually offers AT37, AT38 and AT44 versions with even bigger tires with these inch figures respectively, and even 6x6 models. Given the Land Cruiser's popularity in its lineup, it will only be a matter of time before hypervitamin versions of this type emerge under its new generation.
