Producer of the F1 2021 game predicts Max Verstappen's victory on Sunday

Producer Codemasters performed a unique racing simulation using F1 2021, the official FIA Formula 1 World Championship game, to predict who will be the grand champion of one of the most disputed seasons in the sport's history: Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton reach the last stage of the competition tied with 369.5 points. The simulation predicts that Dutchman Verstappen will leave Abu Dhabi with his first world title.

In the F1 2021 simulation, the title was decided in a real driving class, where Max ended up getting the better of him after taking pole position in qualifying. He had a perfect start and established a solid lead in the opening laps.

Hamilton tried to the end but didn't find many overtaking opportunities and soon waved goodbye to his hopes of winning his eighth world title. Sergio Perez completed the podium in third place. Also according to the simulations, Mercedes won the Constructors' title for the eighth consecutive time.

The F1 2021 racing game is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
