MANHART ER 800: UM MERCEDES-AMG E 63 S MAIS SELVAGEM

MERCEDES-AMG E 63 S gets a reinforcement from Manhart

With no clear rival on the horizon for the BMW M5 known as the MH5 800, in other words, a preparation that has remarkably raised the performance of the sports sedan, Manhart is back in action with a really surprising job done this time on the Mercedes-AMG E 63 S. The battle is on because both can look each other in the eye directly to see which is the wildest sedan in Germany.

Under the name of Manhart ER 800, comes a vehicle whose aesthetic modifications are not very relevant, as the most striking is a decoration with black and gold tones, common in the rest of the preparer's works, as well as imposing 21-inch Classic Line wheels . They are painted in matte black and are fitted with tires measuring 255/30 ZR21 at the front and 295/25 ZR21 at the rear. Inside, the customer can opt for custom rugs and a Rolls-Royce-style Starlight ceiling.

The really important thing about this preparation is hidden under the hood, with a very eye-catching gold-tone bonnet appearing in the engine compartment, a declaration of intent by Manhart. Remember that the original propeller is a 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8 that unloads a total of 612 hp and a maximum torque of 850 Nm onto the asphalt, coupled with a 9-speed AMG Speedshift automatic transmission that sends all the energy to the four wheels thanks to the presence of the 4Matic system of the German brand.

However, thanks to the presence of new turbos, heat exchangers, carbon intake system, as well as less restrictive catalysts and an optimized ECU, it was possible to improve the performance of the sports sedan to levels typical of a super sports car. Is that now the AMG that appears in the images is capable of developing an impressive 809 hp of power, with a maximum torque that rises up to 1,070 Nm. In addition, Manhart has installed a sports exhaust system that improves the vehicle's sound.

The final touch comes with an improved brake system thanks to the presence of carbon-ceramic discs measuring 405 mm in diameter on the front axle, as well as an air suspension that reduces the height of the AMG by 30 mm. Availability of this project is very limited, as the German specialist has announced plans to build just 5 units.
