Mercedes-Benz launches special series of Actros mechanical horse

As part of the celebrations of 65 years of operation in Brazil, Mercedes-Benz this week launched the Special Series of the New Actros 'Coração Estradeiro', limited to 65 units in allusion to the history in the trajectory of the largest commercial vehicle manufacturer in the country and the Latin America. The official presentation took place during the virtual celebration of the company's historic landmark, which brought together employees, customers, press, suppliers, Dealership Network and brand fans.

The Special Series of the Novo Actros extra-heavy truck, the brand's top-of-the-line, gained additional items suggested by the truck drivers themselves from a survey carried out with steering wheel professionals from various parts of the country. In other words, the brand's mantra - 'The roads speak and Mercedes-Benz listens to every voice' - always acting.

“An initiative like this is the perfect union of reason and emotion. What beats inside the chest of each person at Mercedes-Benz is what also beats inside each of our customers: a wild heart”, says Roberto Leoncini, Vice President of Sales and Marketing Trucks and Buses of Mercedes-Benz do Brazil. “This is the theme of the New Actros Special Series 65 years, which refers to both truck drivers and Mercedes-Benz. After all, a wild heart is what unites us”.

According to the executive, the brand's customers are truly passionate about their profession. “They have a visceral relationship with what they do, they are proud to cross the roads of Brazil from North to South, from East to West. And in that, they have a lot in common with Mercedes-Benz. For 65 years, what has driven us is our passion for the roads, we are tireless in developing ever better trucks that help transport everything across this immense country with continental dimensions”, emphasizes Leoncini.
