TUNNING

MB GLE 63 BY WHEELSANDMORE

In the last few months we have seen all kinds of preparations on the basis of the new Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe and its more spicy version, the AMG GLE 63 Coupe, but there are few modifications on the base of the veteran ML, renamed a few years ago as Mercedes- Benz GLE.
However, Wheelsandmore, of which we have already shown many programs here on the basis of the star's brand, did not want to set aside one of the most successful SUVs of the German brand and shows a new aesthetic and mechanical package for the crossover.

Bearing in mind that the last Mercedes-AMG GLE 63, a direct descendant of the original ML 55 AMG, has a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine that delivers nothing less than 612 hp and 850 Nm of maximum torque. In this new generation it is coupled to the SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G transmission.
Aesthetically, Wheelsandmore introduced a new set of alloy wheels with dimensions of 10.5 x 24 inches on the front axle and 12.5 x 24 inches on the rear, which are fitted with high-performance Vredestein tires in sizes 295/30 and 355 / 25, respectively.

The German preparer is also working on new parts for the GLE 63, such as an exhaust system and a module to lower the air suspension through an application for the smartphone. But the icing on the cake is undoubtedly under the hood, where we can have up to 920 hp and 1,150 Nm of torque.
For this, the turbos and numerous parts were modified, while an adjustment was made to the ECU. Level 4 is priced at no less than € 42,016, but those looking for something more rational can opt for up to three additional performance packages.

Level 3 releases 860 hp and 1,150 Nm of torque for 31,092 euros. In the case of Level 2, we are talking about 800 hp and 1,040 Nm of torque for 16,806 euros and, ultimately, Level 1 offers a reasonable 710 hp and 950 Nm of torque for 2,200 euros.
No less interesting is the elimination of the speed limiter, which allows the GLE AMG 63 to reach 320 km / h when equipped with the right tires.
