TESLA

Hackers want to unleash the full power potential of the brand's
models ... But they fail

Some customers want and pay for a calmer and cheaper Tesla, but then they want a more powerful and sporty version. That is why they use a hacker to unlock access to more horses, faster and more autonomy. However, from its headquarters in California, Tesla always controls what happens in the software of its vehicles and is attentive.
A few months ago, Ingenext announced the first hack to the Tesla system, charging about half of the North American brand to allow the Model 3 Dual Motor access to the greater acceleration capacity and Drift Mode, among other functions, only available for the Performance version. Everything indicated that this would be a good deal for Ingenext, but only until Tesla realized. The American brand created a solution to prevent access to its software one day, with hackers trying to get around the measures the next day.
But Ingenext was not limited to circumventing Tesla's security measures. He went further and had fun at the manufacturer's expense by “shuffling” the system created by the manufacturer. Ingenext creator Guillaume André has already admitted that Tesla has created a very good defense for its Boost 50, detecting it and banning the vehicle from accessing Superchargers and systematic free over-the-air updates.
But Ingenext did not give up and created a Bonus Module, sent to customers who have already purchased the Boost 50, which will allow them access to a series of functions, available only in the most expensive versions. But most likely, as soon as the Bonus Module is active, Tesla will detect it and ban it again, so it remains to be seen how far the customer will want to go, since he will be the one to suffer the ire of the north manufacturer. -American. This is because, free of charge or not, access to Superchargers is crucial for the brand's customers. Like OTA software updates.
