MOTO GP

QUARTARARO AGAIN AT THE TOP...ROSSI AT THE PODIUM

Drama at the beginning of the Moto GP, with Miguel Oliveira hit by Binder, being projected from the bike in the confusion of the first corner.
Ahead, Quartararo had jumped into the lead with Rossi and Viñales competing for the next places…
On the first lap, Viñales enters the wide straight and Rossi takes the second, all discovering that the heat, now at 60 degrees on the track, makes the track very slippery off the track… Aleix Espargaró falls for the second time at the weekend, with Smith, already hampered by Oliveira's fall, very late, only with the obviously sore Crutchlow back in 15th and last, such was the reason in the peloton…
With Rossi and Viñales chasing Quartararo, Rossi comes in second, Bagnaia charges to reach third and then second, while Miller and Petrucci fall, one after the other.
Viñales in fourth keeps the tires and Binder is punished poetically for the fall of Oliveira when he was spit out of the bike and also left him out… the best KTM is now Espargaró in 9th… and the next withdrawal is Morbidelli, with 9 laps to go, with what looks like a broken chain.
With this, Cal Crutchlow has nothing to lose and he goes to boxing to make adjustments, the 14th place already yielding 2 points… The other injured of the peloton, Rins, is in 11th and Quartararo, in front, has no opposition and goes with almost 5 seconds ahead for Bagnaia, who in turn is looking for a better career in MotoGP, with 2.6 seconds ahead of Rossi, when his bike breaks down and the team watches in horror as the bike is smoking and oil on the rear tire ...
Fortunately, Bagnaia realizes in time and the interest becomes the fight per second between Rossi and Viñales, in which the Spaniard overtakes the Italian, but then has no front tire to close and loses his position again…
Lin Jarvis had said he would dance naked in the paddock if he had 3 Yamaha on the podium, and with 4 laps to go, that became a more real possibility ...
Nakagami, as he had been doing most of the weekend, carries on and reaches 4th, with Viñales still unable to pass Rossi until the end, and Quartararo wins for almost 5 seconds…
