ELECTRIFICATION SHOWS YOUR BRUTAL SIDE ON THE NEW MUSTANG MACH 1400

After several official advances, the new creation of Ford Performance was finally presented in collaboration with the RTR. This is the new Ford Mustang Mach-E 1400 Concept. Taking the new Ford electric car as a starting point, an authentic monster on wheels was created. A high-performance vehicle, but which keeps its condition as a zero-emissions car and 100% electric mechanics.

For the creation of this project, the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT with a white body was taken as a starting point. Despite its status as a prototype, it is no less interesting. In the bowels of the new Mustang Mach-E 1400 are a total of 7 electric motors that reach a total power of 1,419 hp (1,400 hp). The chassis and powertrain work together for a wide variety of configurations.

This project required about 10,000 hours of work from Ford Performance and RTR. One of the goals that was proposed at the beginning of development was none other than stepping on the heels of the Ford Mustang Cobra Jet 1400, a '100% electric dragster' that was introduced last April and whose major debut is expected later this year. to handle the main acceleration races.

During the process of creating the new Mustang Mach-E 1400, special emphasis was placed on the aerodynamic part. This aerodynamics is optimized according to shape and location, with a focus on the cooling ducts, the diffuser and front stabilizers, in addition to the rear airfoil.

As noted earlier, in the bowels of the
Mustang Mach-E 1400 are hidden a total of 7 engines, five more than the Mustang Mach-E GT. Three are attached to the front differential and four are attached to the rear, with a single drive axle that connects them to the differentials. This allows for a variety of settings, from 'drifting' to high-speed racing.
The power supply can be divided evenly between the front and the back, or completely from one to the other. The aerodynamic load reaches more than 1,000 kg at 257 km / h. The battery has a capacity of 56.8 kWh and is made up of nickel manganese cobalt pouch cells. The battery system is designed to be cooled during charging using a dielectric coolant.

Other outstanding elements are the Brembo brake system and components made of carbon fiber to reduce weight, such as the hood. The interior has also been modified. The cabin has been adapted to the world of competition. Just take a look at the seats, steering wheel and pedals. The debut of the new Mustang Mach-E 1400 will take place very soon in a NASCAR race.
