Ténéré 700 wins Rally version

Yamaha presented a new version of the Ténéré 700, called Rally Edition. The special edition of the big trail is inspired by the XT 600Z Ténéré that participated in the Dakar Rally in the early 1980s and rescues the classic combination of blue and yellow, in addition to the gold wheels, which equipped the model in the first years of production.



The Yamaha Ténéré 700 Rally Edition follows the same engine as the common version, a 689 cm³ bicylindrical “inherited” from MT-07, capable of delivering 73 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 6.93 kgf.ma 6,500 turns .

The special edition of the Yamaha Ténéré 700 received some upgrades that set it apart from the standard, such as the rally seat, which is 20 mm higher than normal and raises the height from the ground to 895 mm, off-road handles, Akrapovic tip, protections for radiator, engine and chain, LED turn signals and rubber supports on the sides of the fuel tank for better fixation of the legs.
The new Rally Edition version will be available at European dealerships from July. The price was not revealed by the mark of the three tuning forks, but the standard version is marketed in the United Kingdom for 9,147 pounds sterling.
