(ANSA) - Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc has been chosen as the new face of the campaign by Italian brand Giorgio Armani, Made to Measure, for the spring-summer of 2020.
The 22-year-old Monegasque is the protagonist, for the first time, of an advertising campaign.
The almost cinematic black and white photos were taken by John Balsom in Saint-Tropez, on the French Riviera, where stylist Giorgio Armani has a summer home.
"Extremely happy to announce that I am now an ambassador for the Giorgio Armani brand and its Made to Measure line. Fashion, music and motorsport have always been my passions, and representing such an iconic brand from now on is a great honor," wrote Leclerc in his social networks.
Armani said the Monegasque is a "very promising" driver. In addition, he commented that his success in Formula 1 is an "indication of will and determination".
"Charles Leclerc is a very promising driver. He has had considerable success, despite his young age, and this is an indication of willingness and determination, as well as an evident talent. He has a new face and an agile physicality that my 'Made to Measure 'enhances and accompanies. The tailored suit has no age, and these photos are proof of that, "said Armani.
