Right after launching the E180, Mercedes-Benz Philippines is adding yet another variant to one of their popular models. They have just expanded their GLC range to include a more value-oriented model which comes in at a little under Php 4 million.
New to the lineup is the GLC200 Limited and, as the name suggests, Mercedes-Benz Philippines won't be selling a lot of it. What it does have is most of the equipment seen in the higher-spec variants. Some of these features include the Extended MBUX function with “Hey Mercedes”, LED High Performance headlights, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Active Parking Assist, just to name a few.

The GLC200 Limited is also equipped with the Chrome Package. That means it has brightwork on the grill, front and rear underguard, plus polished aluminium roof railing, window sills, and window weatherstrips. Last but not least are its tailpipes which are integrated into the bumper. It then rides on five-spoke, 18-inch light-alloy wheels.
For the 2020 model year, the GLC gets a new set of bumpers, along with a new grill and LED daytime running light signatures at the front. Also new are the tail lights with more LED elements, bringing it bang up to date. Inside, the center stack has been given a bit of a revamp. The design is largely similar to the current model but there's a new COMAND touchpad in the mix. Also, the steering wheel design has been tweaked with new spokes, along with a thicker rim.

Power is sourced from a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine which makes 197 PS along with 320 Nm of torque. It then shifts via a nine-speed automatic transmission, which should help with fuel economy. There's no all-wheel drive option for the GLC200 Limited; all variants are rear-wheel drive only. Also, you can get the GLC200 Limited in any color you want as long as it's black.
