Trump is present at the 500 Miles of Daytona
Fox News reporter John Roberts warned and Donald Trump complied. According to the journalist he anticipated on social media, the President of the United States of America would be present in the 500 Miles of Daytona and would do so in the presidential limousine, known as "The Beast".
Trump took advantage of the fact that he went to spend the weekend at his home in Palm Beach, Florida, to mark the start of the 2020 season for NASCAR. Simultaneously, he starred in scenes rarely seen, as it is little (or even nothing) vulgar to have a presidential limousine leading a platoon of cars in an oval. That was precisely how the “warming up” took place, with the necessary apparatus to protect the vehicle of the American President, who was accompanied by First Lady Melania Trump.
"Daytona International Speedway has had the privilege of hosting several acting presidents of the United States throughout its history," said circuit director Chip Wile. "We are honored that the President of the United States has decided to live the enthusiasm of the 'Great American Race', participating in the 62nd edition of the Daytona 500".Before Trump, there were three Heads of State to open competitions in Daytona: George W. Bush in 2004, George HW Bush in 1992 and Ronald Reagan in 1984. But, until now, the presidential limousine had never traveled the 4 , 2 km from the circuit.
