Mustang Mach-E Looks Good In Police Uniform
You wouldn’t expect the Ford Mustang Mach-E to escaped the rendering frenzy, did you? Of course not, though instead of presenting some unrealistic creations, we decided to put the spotlight (pun intended) on one dressed as a police cruiser.
Made by Aksyonov Nikita, the digital interpretation of the dedicated electric SUV portrays it with a black paint and typical police livery. There’s a bull bar at the front, spotlights mounted on the A pillars, roof emergency lights and front and rear strobes as well, whereas the wheels have a less flashy appearance, as you’d expect on a police cruiser.
Only time will tell if we will see the Mustang Mach-E patrolling the streets alongside other battery-electric cars like Tesla’s Model S and Model X. In the meantime, you should head to the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show to take a look at it and explore its curves and creases, as you will have to wait until late 2020 to see it in Ford’s dealerships across the nation. And if you’re interested, you can also place a $500 deposit to secure a build slot and become one of the first owners.
Pricing will start at $43,895 for the Select grade before any tax credits, and this version is available with rear- or all-wheel drive, packing a 255 HP (259 PS / 190 kW) electric motor and a 75.7 kWh battery. The RWD model does the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in just a little over 6 seconds, with a range of approximately 230 miles (370 km), whereas the AWD spec is quicker to 60 mph (96 km/h), at 5.5 seconds, but has a lower range, as it can travel for 210 miles (338 km) on a single charge.
