‘Baja Forged’ Super Duty By LGE-CTS Is Ready To Save Raptors In Distress
LGE-CTS Motorsports created an overland-themed Ford F-250 Super Duty for people that find the F-150 Raptor too small or too …pedestrian. This is the ‘Baja Forged’ Super Duty and is probably one of the most war-ready trucks this year at SEMA.
The custom truck specialist describes the ‘Baja Forged’ Super Duty as an “all-in-one mobile command center, workshop and campsite”. Power comes from the 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel engine, providing some serious muscle when it comes to towing and hauling.
The stock bed was replaced by a custom Pronghorn modular flatbed that was modified by LGE-CTS Motorsports for maximum storage space and general practicality. The custom flatbed can be opened to create a mobile workshop, complete with a set of Boxo tools.
This workspace is illuminated by Rigid Industries’ A-series lights should you have to repair something during the night; an ARB Awning is also mounted on the bed, as well as a weatherproof fridge and freezer. A Tepui Hybox roof top tent is also present, together with a custom Baja Forged roof rack.
Of course a truck of this caliber should come with a heavy-duty suspension and on that front, the ‘Baja Forged’ Super Duty doesn’t disappoint; a stage 7 suspension system from ICON Vehicle Dynamics is installed, featuring a 4.5-inch lift and dual steering stabilizers. A set of Hellwig air springs was also fitted to better handle the added weight and higher center of gravity, together with new front and rear sway bars.
A new custom front bumper and carbon-fiber front fenders turn up the visual aggression of the truck while off-road lighting is taken care of by two light bars and various additional lighting components. The truck is finished in mixed custom colors. A set of 37-inch BF Goodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 tires mounted on 18-inch Method Race 304 NV HD wheels complete the imposing picture of LGE-CTS.
The interior features custom Katzkin Leather seat covers, a Built Right Industries rear-seat release kit for maximum cabin storage, a vehicle safe and more.
The 6.7-liter turbodiesel engine got a Pedal Commander program for better throttle response while a custom Borla DPF-back exhaust system with black chrome tips is responsible for the richer soundtrack.
