Ford Recalls Ranger Pickup Trucks for Taillight Problem 

Ford is recalling 78,264 of its 2019 Ranger pickup trucks because an electrical connector may be loose or not properly installed. As a result, the taillights may be inoperative or work intermittently, according to the automaker.
This problem includes the lights that indicate stopping, turning, and/or reversing, and may result in a crash. Ford has said that this problem does not affect the center high-mounted brake light. The recall is for 72,718 Rangers in the U.S. and federal territories, and 5,546 in Canada.
Ford said in its recall notifications that it is not aware of any crashes or injuries associated with this problem.
How to contact the manufacturer: Ford’s number for this recall is 19S43. Owners may call Ford customer service at 866-436-7332. There is no date as to when the recall will begin.
