Two-time Formula One champion Emerson Fittipaldi remains in a tight financial situation. The former pilot carries a bank debt that already amounts to more than $ 23 million, according to UOL Esporte. Fittipaldi is a defendant in 20 lawsuits and has been denounced by several financial institutions for unpaid loans.
With corrections and fines, the amount of $ 23.5 million may be even greater. In addition to the lawsuits against Emerson, he was ordered to pay 411 thousand per share of Unibanco, one of the creditors. Remember that the consecrated champion on the tracks had, in March, the driver's license blocked by action brought by Safra Bank. However, he had his CNH released two months later.
All the banks that sued the two-time F1 champion had the same problem: unpaid rural and corporate finance loans from the former driver. Debts also generated a true search for pledges. With no money to back the money, several lenders tried to seize Fittipaldi's real estate, such as Fitti Farm - leased in 2017 by an agricultural company.
Emerson Fittipaldi currently lives in the United States and has not attended the press.
